Happy Monday! Did you have a good, active weekend? We rode bikes around the city on Saturday and went for a nice, long run along the river yesterday.
I love taking advantage of the gorgeous weekend weather and extra time to get outside and move. It’s one reason I’m such a fan of Mission Fit Camp, exercising outside feels like recess! No matter what you do for your active time, try adding these videos either before or after.
Reach ups. Today we’ll be working on full sit ups again, but this time we add a twist! Follow me through 3 sets of reach ups diagonally to the right, left and then straight to the center. Beginners: you can wedge a small pillow under your lower back so your shoulders don’t go all the way to the ground. Advanced: you can hold something heavy (even your water bottle works!) in the hand (or hands) that you are reaching up with.
Standing Warm up: Torso rotation
A: 10 Reach ups: Right arm over left knee
B: 10 Reach ups: Left arm over right knee
C: 10 Reach ups: Both arms to the center
