31 Days of Abs: Day 30

Day 30: Cardio Planks

Today I’ll drive your heart rate up while we tone our core and shoulders in various forms of a plank. We will be going through 3 sets of 4 exercises, which alternate between a slower speed (recovery) move, and a higher speed (aerobic) move. Remember that you can’t “spot train” to burn belly fat by doing abdominal strength training – that requires a calorie deficit, which can be achieved by watching your diet, and increasing your daily burn. Cardio is a great way to burn baby burn! Have fun, stay strong, and get excited for tomorrow’s LAST DAY VIDEO!!!

Overview:

Standing Warm up: Shoulder Rolls, Chest Openers, Torso Rotations

A: 10 Step Out Planks
B: 10 Plank Jacks
C: 10 Cross Knee Drives
D: 10 Cross Mountain Climbers (on each leg)

Repeat 3x
