Day 5 is now live! Noticing any progress? We’d love to hear how you are doing.
The rest of the days are now cataloged on the fitness page, catch up on previous days there.
Full sit-ups. Today we take on the challenge of a full sit up! This is one of the must functionally important moves you can rehearse in fitness (another one is being able to stand from a chair without using your hands to help you.) Beginners, make sure to put a pillow behind you to begin, or do this on a slight incline so your head is higher than your hips. Certainly not easy, but if you want an added challenge, hold a medicine ball or dumbell on your chest when you do this workout. Practice these regularly and you won’t ever have to say “help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” as a senior!
Warm up on your hands and knees by rounding and flexing your spine. Borrowed from yoga practice, these poses are called “cat” and “cow.”
