Frozen Blueberry Mojito Recipe

Frozen Blueberry Mojito recipe, the perfect drink for summer. Blueberries, mint, lime and rum pureed until frosty and thick.

There’s nothing I love more than a frozen drink for hot summer days. This frozen blueberry mojito recipe is quick, simple and perfect for entertaining. Throw everything in a blender, puree until frosty and cool- that’s it! So much easier than muddling mint for individual mojito drinks.

This past weekend, BL and I got to work on our yard. As I’ve mentioned a few times, we are slowly updating our century-old home. Sometimes it’s fun, other times I’m ten seconds away from putting our house up for sale and moving into a turn-key option.

Unblended Ingredients For The Mojito In A Blender

We’ve almost completely neglected the yard for the past year, mostly because we were busy with other projects- painting everything, installing a closet, kitchen remodel, electrical rewiring and furniture shopping (which takes me forever to edit down what I truly want). So, we’ve been planning this weekend for months- two full days of tearing out all of the plants to till and start again. Since our house is so old, the front has this gorgeous brick pattern that I want to highlight with shorter shrubs and flowers.

And then, the weather report came in. 98 degrees for both days. Since we’d already committed this weekend to the project, we decided to forge ahead- with lots of breaks in between for water, my raspberry limeade and finally- this frozen mojito.

We held out until 4PM the first day, but these came a bit earlier yesterday. Honestly, I think they gave us a little extra motivation to keep going, a few sips here and there and knowing that once we were finished- the pitcher was our reward for a job well done.

Serve The Mojitos Immediately With Some Fresh Mint And Sliced Citrus

I’ve been loving fresh blueberries lately (and these drinks are a great way to use up any limp/sour ones), but I think any fresh or frozen fruit would work here. I plan on trying out watermelon, honeydew, raspberry and blackberries in the coming months.

These are also fantastic as a non-alcoholic option, so blend a pitcher up for the kids (and pregnant friends), for a fun slushy option. Either way, I think you are going to love this drink. Cheers to summer!

One of the reasons we bought a townhouse was so that we didn’t have to garden! I love having a few pretty flowers, but the fiance and I are hopeless at remembering to weed/mow so minimal yard is best for us! I applaud your garden taming efforts! I hope you share some photos of the finished product because you worked so hard! Also, these mojitos would be the best after a long day in the garden, or maybe a long day of housework for us yardless folks 😉

What a fun summer drink! I have tons of mint in my balcony garden this year, so looks like I’ll need to try this out!

I hear you! I was out yesterday weeding in my garden and it was brutal! But it would’ve been MUCH easier to get through the last couple hours with these waiting for me. Love that you mention the kids version- maybe I could actually get them to help me week (longer than 15 minutes) with these in the fridge!
