It’s here, it’s here! Gah. I’m totally cheesing right now. The last six months of planning and work have finally reached this moment: the launch of our six-week program, Joyful Eating, Nourished Life. As I mentioned in this introductory post, Anne, Rachael and I created this program to help you get healthy without deprivation, calorie counting or stress about food or exercise.
Intuitive eating works. It works, it works, it works. If you are tired of the yo-yo train of dieting, this is the plan for you. It’s been my specialty for the last few years, and I’ve helped hundreds of clients make peace with their bodies and food. I vividly remember watching my mom struggle with calorie counting for most of my life and as I entered into the dieting stage in my early twenties, I became overwhelmed with the same guilt when I would eat the foods I really craved. I was in school to learn about nutrition, yet I was exhausted, under-nourished and depleted. Thankfully, thanks to this book and yoga, I was introduced to the concept of intuitive eating and never looked back.
Sharing this knowledge is my why, I want to help you make peace with food. To move throughout the day without stressing about calorie counting. To mindfully savor your favorite food, guilt free. To be able to go to a party and not be preoccupied by what you are (or aren’t) eating. Finding an exercise routine you actually enjoy- and sticking with it. Accepting your body as it is now. Sound impossible? It’s not.
While I offer this service in my private practice, I know it’s unreasonable to assume that everyone has the time and resources to dedicate to one-on-one counseling. That’s how this plan was initially introduced, a conversation that Anne, Rachael and I had on how we can maximize our impact.
