Joyful Eating, Nourished Life is HERE.

Get ready to go on an un-diet…

It’s here, it’s here! Gah. I’m totally cheesing right now. The last six months of planning and work have finally reached this moment: the launch of our six-week program, Joyful Eating, Nourished Life. As I mentioned in this introductory post, Anne, Rachael and I created this program to help you get healthy without deprivation, calorie counting or stress about food or exercise.

Intuitive eating works. It works, it works, it works. If you are tired of the yo-yo train of dieting, this is the plan for you. It’s been my specialty for the last few years, and I’ve helped hundreds of clients make peace with their bodies and food. I vividly remember watching my mom struggle with calorie counting for most of my life and as I entered into the dieting stage in my early twenties, I became overwhelmed with the same guilt when I would eat the foods I really craved. I was in school to learn about nutrition, yet I was exhausted, under-nourished and depleted. Thankfully, thanks to this book and yoga, I was introduced to the concept of intuitive eating and never looked back.

Sharing this knowledge is my why, I want to help you make peace with food. To move throughout the day without stressing about calorie counting. To mindfully savor your favorite food, guilt free. To be able to go to a party and not be preoccupied by what you are (or aren’t) eating. Finding an exercise routine you actually enjoy- and sticking with it. Accepting your body as it is now. Sound impossible? It’s not.

While I offer this service in my private practice, I know it’s unreasonable to assume that everyone has the time and resources to dedicate to one-on-one counseling. That’s how this plan was initially introduced, a conversation that Anne, Rachael and I had on how we can maximize our impact. Week by week, Joyful Eating, Nourished Life gives you the tools that you can revamp your relationship with food and your body for the better. It’s packed with the most effective strategies so you can finally stop stressing and start living.

Here’s a look at what’s included in the 6 week program:

  • A 50+ page starter guide, including 10 principles of joyful eating, 15 no-recipe formula meals and snacks, finding your happy weight and additional resources.

  • Bi-weekly emails with in depth, written lesson plans packed with action steps, learning activities, strategies and support.

  • Access to a private facebook group during the program for support, encouragement and sharing with other participants, and access to Q&A with Anne, Rachael and myself.

  • Membership to a Joyful Eating alumni facebook group with other graduates of the program for the life of the Joyful Eating program.

  • Weekly challenges provided on a handy tracking worksheet to monitor your progress and success.

  • A guided meditation series in audio format.

  • Weekly thought provoking journaling exercises.

  • Four audio lectures for listening and learning on the go.

AND so much more. You’ll get our Joyful Eating Journal, a calorie counting free (yay!) food journal designed to help you discover the “whys” behind your unwanted eating habits, our meal planning template, a step-by-step mindful eating guide, tools for building body confidence- and more. Basically, it’s a lot of really great information that works.

Yay! I’ve never dedicated a specific post to my services before, but I am so excited about this program that I wanted to share it with you in hopes that you will join us. Additionally, if you think this program will help someone you know then please share it.

To join us, head here to learn a bit more and sign up for the program.

Thanks friends for helping to support this mission! I can’t wait to see where we are headed. I’ll be back on Friday for the latest on my How to: Vegetarian series with everything you want to know about omega-3 fatty acids (and plant-based recipes highlighting them).
